Family on Upper East Side looking for an amazing live-in housekeeper to travel with them – between NYC, the Hamptons, and Florida

The position will have a base of New York City (main), The Hampton’s during summer, Florida as needed (can be for up to 8 months). A lot of travel around the US required! We are looking for a great candidate with boundless energy, ability to be flexible and move around a lot with the family, and a strong team player mentality to handle the needs of a family! Position can work up to 13 hours per day. There are 4 family members, with two children under 12 yrs old and a family dog – pet friendly is a must. Family will offer 10 days of PTO per year, and other benefits.

Strong command of English language; good communication skills, both written and verbal are required
• A valid Driver’s License, with own car to travel to and from work
• Legally able to work within the United States
• Happy to travel
• Happy to wear smart clothing (not uniform) when in the principal’s home
• Minimum 5 years working in a similar role, for a similar sized property
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; above and beyond attitude with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers

Duties:

• Household cleaning – internal and external
• Ordering supplies – online and running errands
• Sorting mail and packages
• Laundry – fine fabrics, bed linen, managing wardrobes
• Cooking simple meals
• Looking after guests
• Overseeing tradesmen
• Working with other team members to support the family
