TWO NANNIES NEEDED: LIVE-IN WEEKDAY AND LIVE-IN WEEKEND SUPPORT IN BROOKLYN, NY

Busy Brooklyn (Flatbush) family of 5 are looking to fill two (2) live-in Nanny positions. The first position is for a live-in Weekday Nanny. This Nanny would start Monday morning after the other Nanny has helped the children get up and ready for the day to board the school bus by 7:15 AM. School starts at 8:20 AM and bus picks up at 3:30 PM. Starting around 5pm, Nanny would help children with their homework, dinner, and bedtime routines. While children are in school, the Nanny must be willing to help with other household needs (children related and some family assisting ad hoc duties). This shift ends by Friday afternoon where the other Nanny will trade off to begin their weekend shift.

The second position is for a live-in Weekend Nanny who will start their shift on Friday afternoon when the children come home from school (around 3:30pm), and will help manage all 3 children, help plan activities, take children to playdates, activities, assist with meals, dinner, and bedtime routines. Monday morning get the children ready for their day before the weekday Nanny comes to switch shifts.

Ideally, they would like the Nannies to drive; have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. There may also be some travel with the family so a valid U.S. passport is necessary. A Nanny who doesn’t mind preparing dinners and snacks for family and or children, CPR certified, and is a passionate and caring child care giver who is looking for a long term placement to grow with the family.

The family also has a summer home in Deal, New Jersey where they will be conducting interviews and trials over the next 3 weeks until around the first week of September. The Flatbush-Brooklyn home is their main residence. They have 3 children under 8 years old.

The family needs a take charge Nanny who is responsible and safe with a soft demeanor. Stimulate children in a healthy way and helping them to set personal boundaries. They follow a progressive Montessori philosophy, so having some child psychology knowledge is a plus!

Kosher and Personal Assistant support a plus!

Location: Deal, NJ for trial at their summer home. Main residence is in Brooklyn, NY (Flatbush area)

Start Date: Immediate/permanent hire

Schedule: Live-in weekday Nanny – Monday morning to Friday afternoon. Live-in weekend Nanny – Friday afternoon to Monday morning.

Children: Three children under 8 years old

Accommodation: Live-in required either weekday or weekend for either job

Compensation: DOE

Must pass full background and reference check
