MAINTENANCE SUPPORT AND BOAT CAPTAIN FOR BEACH FRONT PROPERTY IN WEST PALM BEACH, FL

Our clients in West Palm Beach, FL are seeking a hands-on Maintenance support all-rounder who possesses a Florida boating license and has experience as a Captain.

This 85’ yacht does local cruises on the intracoastal (no Bahamas or other locations). Clients need someone to maintain the yacht and to keep it ready to go when they need it (not often as they do not take the boat out regularly).

Majority of the position would be assisting around the estate, helping the Estate Manager, working interior/exterior around the property, assisting with any maintenance needs and day-to-day walk-throughs, as well as to fill in for the Estate Manager, as needed.

An engineering background and ability to captain the boat (license required), additional help with the maintenance of vehicles – washing the cars, gassing the cars; help with the pool, pumps and other ad hoc duties requiring maintenance, cleaning and assistance with outside workers.

This hybrid position will assist in keeping the exterior of property cleaned and guest ready. Help Estate Manager with vendors to direct them through the property; schedule vendor appointments and be a partner to the Estate Manager.

Must have experience with UHNW, beach-front properties, and estates over 10k sf preferred. Understanding of a home with high level architecture, design, and fine furnishings. Ability to advance the home’s aesthetics for principals’ and guest’s arrivals. Manage all things tech, it would be helpful to comprehend SMART home technology, troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues; boating and sea craft vehicles, and any needs that will come up at the residence. Being proactive in nature, high EQ, warm, empathetic, and sensitive to working in a private home with a large staff. We are looking for a team player who works collaboratively, proactively, and is of a service heart.

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Contract Length: Full-time/permanent

Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and emergencies. Times are TBD

Salary: $80-100K; some benefits offered
