PART TIME LOS FELIZ/MALIBU HOUSEMAN/HANDYMAN

Our client is seeking a Houseman/Handyman to clean the exteriors, perform car maintenance and provide interior support for two housekeepers 2 days/week 8 hours per day. One day will be at the Los Feliz residence and the other day will be at their Malibu residence.

Duties will be to bring in/out garbage as needed, clearing debris from around the property, making sure landscapers are doing what is required, cleaning outdoor furniture and cleaning around the back garden areas. Maintenance as needed; walking the properties to see what needs repairing and bringing to the attention of the Estate Manager and either fixing it yourself or supervising the trades/vendors performing the repairs.

General assistance with moving furniture or getting on a ladder to clean higher areas to help the housekeepers; other ad-hoc duties as directed.

Seeking a self-starter with energy, motivation, enjoys working and takes pride in their attention to detail. Very nice household and family are kind, generous people. The right fit will have a great range of handyman, basic repair, and carpentry skills needed to keep the interior and exterior areas of the estate working properly and maintained.

 Duties will include but not limited to: 

• Painting and drywall repair
• Cleaning and maintenance of the property; reporting to the Estate Manager
• Vehicle maintenance
• Landscape and Hardscape management
• General home maintenance
• Ability to do troubleshooting both interior and exterior of the property
• Able to respond to any unexpected issues

Location: Los Feliz and Malibu residences
Contract Length: Permanent
Start Date: Immediate

Working Days: Will be determined (flexible)
Working Hours: 8 hours a day (16 hours total)

Salary: $35 per hour

Must pass reference and background check to be eligible.
