PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER IN LOS ANGELES, CA – LAUNDRY SKILLS REQUIRED

Our wonderful clients in Los Angeles, CA are seeking a part-time Housekeeper with excellent laundry skills. The home is a one story 4,000 sf residence with a guest home. They need someone two days per week, 8 hours each day. Weekdays only (days and times will be discussed with candidate in the interview). No weekends are needed unless there is a special event or request.

As the Housekeeper, you will have in-depth knowledge of caring for fine fabrics, linens, clothing, and towels. Very careful and detailed laundry support, and possible ironing or steaming may be needed as well. Managing closets and keeping them well organized; some packing for the family may be asked. The family travels 50% of the year, and the Housekeeper will work and do ad-hoc projects as needed when family are away. Other duties may be greeting vendors, and escorting them to the area for work, then closing up the house when they are done for the day.

The Housekeeper will be meticulous with day-to-day cleaning, amazing with laundry care, and able to change gears and do other jobs as requested. Your housekeeper skills should be detailed and with an understanding of working in a fine home. Cleaning appliances, stove, fridge, pantries, under beds, inside closets, and other areas that are not always “visible” will be part of the job. Sanitizing areas, keeping the home tidy and guest ready at all times.

Pleasant, upbeat personality, ability to maintain boundaries but still be friendly with the family. This position will be the sole housekeeper at this home, you will be responsible for your own work. Looking for long term commitment.

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Hours: Two days a week – weekdays only! (Monday or Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) The days will be discussed in the interview with the clients. 8 hours each day.

Compensation: $40-$45 per hour

Must pass full background and reference check; COVID vaccinated required
