FULL-TIME HOUSEKEEPER FOR FAMILY IN LOS ALTOS, CA

Family in Los Altos are currently seeking a  housekeeper to maintain a clean and organized home. The ideal candidate will work approximately 35+ hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3 pm, with the flexibility to adjust working hours for the right candidate (more hours can be provided if this works out). In addition to housekeeping duties, this role may include exterior support such as leaf blowing the patio and cleaning up chicken area (some previous experience with this is helpful but not required).

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized residence
• Perform regular and deep cleaning and laundry
• Pay attention to details to ensure high standards are maintained
• Be able to self-direct and prioritize without a lot of oversight
• Bring empathy and a mindset of “how can I make things easier on my employer”
• Communication with employer or employer’s family to ensure needs are met
• Ability to understand and speak English
• No childcare or cooking is necessary
• Driving and run errands
• Proactive mindset and always thinking 10-steps ahead

Qualifications:

• Must have prior housekeeping experience (minimum of 5-7 years without job hopping)
• Must have attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management skills
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Good physical stamina to be able to stand, bend and lift
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Must have a reliable means of transportation and valid driver’s license to run errands

Location: Los Altos, CA

Contract Length: Full-time (for the right candidate)/permanent

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 3 PM with flexibility to work later, weekends, and events

Salary: $40-$45 per hour/DOE

Must pass background and reference check
