OVERNIGHT WEEKDAY NANNY NEEDED – NYC AND CT

We have a very active family in need of a high-energy Nanny to keep up with 3 girls: grade school twins and one pre-teen. The family live between two residences in New York City, and Southport, CT.

The family has a long-time Nanny in place for the last 12 years who works the day shifts.

The overnight weekday Nanny’s schedule is Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. There is a day time nanny in place, so this position works starting around dinnertime (6pm-ish) overnight to the morning. You may need to help with dinner, bath/bed rituals, being there in case of night time needs. Waking girls in the morning, making breakfast, and taking to school. Returning that night to do same routine. You would live in Monday-Thursday nights with your days off and Fri-Sunday off (you may occasionally be needed on the weekends to cover any emergencies, vacation, etc.).

The Nanny is accommodated with their own private room during their overnight stays in Connecticut and when in New York, the Nanny will share a room with one of the children. Housekeepers will changeover sheets and terry for the shift changes. The family has one vehicle, and the Mrs. does not drive, so you must have a reliable vehicle and clean driving record as you will be doing a lot of traveling between the two estates, driving girls to school, possibly camp (or meeting the camp bus in AM/PM), and other activities. It is possible to use an UBER but priority will be given to a Nanny with a vehicle.

The family is very on-the-go and active, they want their Nannies to match the family’s energy, be very engaged and motivated, sporty, and you must know how to swim as they have a boat, swimming pool and family’s private beach in CT. The girls like to ride bikes, and ride their scooters, you should have ability to do both with them.

Please have a strong understanding of the dynamic of a high-energy mostly female household. Having your own children and personal parenting skills are a plus, but not required.

The schedule is Monday night through Friday night the Nannies will be working in New York and traveling to Southport, CT on the weekends (Friday through Sunday). During the summer months the Nannies will be in Southport, CT when the girls have summer camp and other activities.
