Our client, with a newly refurbished 6 story property in New York City (exact area will be disclosed to interviewees) is looking for a live-out Housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their residence, starting in early May.

Duties include:

• Standard housekeeping duties: sweeping, mopping, polishing
• Polishing silver
• Care of fine furnishings
• Changing and making beds
• Organizing linen and cleaning products
• Maintaining inventories of products
• Light laundry and ironing (majority of laundry done by an exterior company)
• Running errands
• Ability to go up/down 6 flights

The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of cleaning products / care of various materials / surfaces. Must be hardworking and organized and take pride in their work. Discretion is also essential.

This is not a full-time residence so working days / hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm when the family are not in residence. When the family visit, flexibility will be required. They bring extra staff when they visit to assist with the running of the household. Home includes, 5 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, dressing rooms, gym, 2 kitchens, barbershop and other areas.

Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience working within a similar role.

Salary negotiable depending on experience benefits will be offered.
