LONG-TERM LIVE-IN OR OUT HOUSEKEEPER NEEDED IN WOODSY BRENTWOOD ESTATE

We have a wonderful couple looking to replace their long-time housekeeper of 20 years in Brentwood, CA. They would like to find the same longevity and top-level experience in their next housekeeper.

The couple are very energetic, like to travel, and entertain twice a week. You will be the sole full-charge housekeeper of the residence. The working days are from Tuesday through Saturday with a changing hourly schedule depending on their needs. Sunday and Monday would be the set days off. Must be flexible and be prepared to work longer hours if needed. The clients offer a live-in or out accommodation and will provide a private bedroom and bathroom, meals and snacks will be included whether you choose to live-in or out.

The 4,500 square foot one-story home sits on top of a hill, so you must have a reliable car. The residence is in a “woodsy” area and the home tends to become very dusty as well as the deck. Ideally, looking for a housekeeper that is comfortable cleaning the outside of the property as well and thoroughly clean the deck. They need someone with experience with fine art and surfaces that would need to be feather dusted and handled with the utmost care.

The MRS does the cooking but would like someone to be comfortable in the kitchen to do prep work, chopping and steaming vegetables, heating/reheating food, ordering food, plating, serving. The MRS  and the housekeeper will set the table when they have guests, the housekeeper will ensure all guests are served and attended to by refilling beverages and clearing plates from the table. This is not a formal household, but a formal dining service background would be helpful. Hiring ASAP!

Some duties and attributes:

• Someone who can work long hours if necessary
• Great personality, warm, and friendly but understands boundaries
•  Knows how to clean to a higher standard, care of fine art and delicate surfaces
• Good with puppies, family is getting a puppy which is a Hypoallergenic dog breed
• Running errands
• Comfortable taking care of the patio and watering potted plants, sweeping outside, and blowing leaves
• Great with laundry, reading labels, and handling fine garments and linens
• Organized and an eye for detail
• Tech Savvy, to do some online shopping and ordering

Location: Brentwood/Los Angeles, CA 90049

Start Date: Immediate

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday

Working Hours: Approximately, 9 AM to 6 PM. Hours may be longer, while principals entertain

Salary: DOE with a cash stipend for benefits, otherwise this is a W-2 position

Must pass full background and reference check, Covid vaccination is required.
