LIVE-IN PERSONAL ASSISTANT/COMPANION FOR ENERGETIC SENIOR IN AUSTIN, TX

Personal Assistant/Companion is sought for an energetic senior to live on property full-time and assist with daily needs from driving to administration. Fluent English-speaking companion, able to cook nutritious meals, help keep the home tidy, do organizing projects, and laundry. Candidate must be able to drive, as you will be driving the principal to wherever she needs to go (principal is providing a work vehicle to use).

The candidate needs to be intuitive with a high EQ to be aware of when the principal would like some alone time and to be able to recognize her needs in general. Principal is very witty with a cheery disposition and is a pleasure to work with, we would like to find someone with the same energy and positive disposition.

The Personal Assistant/Companion must be computer literate, able to take notes during doctor appointments and send to the family,liaise with her doctors, reconcile credit card statements, oversee other household staff, and drive her to and from doctor appointments. Taking the principal to the movies, outings, lunches/dinners, family gatherings, and generally keeping her engaged.

Seeking someone who is proactive, kind, and nurturing, a Personal Assistant/Companion who enjoys the company of seniors and taking care of both the individual and their home. No bathing or dressing required as client is self-sufficient and healthy/can move around on their own.

The principal is offering a 2-bedroom guest house on property and a work vehicle to use. Position is full-time, Monday through Friday with weekend flexibility.

Location: Austin, TX

Working Days: Monday through Friday with weekend flexibility

Working Hours: 40+ hours a week, times are TBD

Salary: $85k-$100k/DOE

Must pass full background and reference check.
