LIVE-IN COMPANION FOR ENERGETIC SENIOR IN NEWBURY PARK, CA 

Companion sought for 89-year-old energetic senior to live-in full time. Fluent English-speaking companion, able to cook nutritious meals, clean the home, do organizing projects, and laundry. Care giver must be able to drive. Working 10-12 hours a day, 5 days a week is fine, but it is preferred that someone truly lives-in 7 days per week, just in case of any emergencies.

The social companion for our client in Newbury Park will ideally be responsible for all day-to-day needs, while also socializing with her. Current Care Giver runs errands with her, does puzzles, plays board games, and watches television with her. Someone who can engage in conversation and enjoys the companionship role, caretaking and being of service to a senior would be the best fit.

Seeking immediate start, car may be provided (or mileage reimbursed). Proactive, creative, kind and nurturing, someone who enjoys the company of seniors and taking care of both the individual and their home. No bathing or dressing required as client is self-sufficient in that way.

Compensation depends upon experience, certifications, and work history. Must have excellent verifiable references from other live-in positions.

Contract Length: Permanent

Working Days: Monday through Friday while living in 7 days a week
Working Hours: 50-60 hours a week

Salary: $250-$350 a day, dependent on experience

Must pass full background and reference check.
