New York City, West Village Family of five is seeking part-time support for Laundress and Housekeeping duties in fabulous penthouse

Laundress would need to be available to work with them three days per week: two days of laundry and ironing and a Saturday for housekeeping.  Hours may be flexible, some days requiring 5 hours, others may need 8 hours. Saturday is a full day. Laundress can expect to work 14-18+ hours per week for this family.

Laundress skills must be top notch. Must be able to identify fine fabrics and know proper care. Excellent ironing skills required as this position will be doing all ironing, everything from fine linens to shirts and socks. Ability to provide any type of spot treatment, light mending, etc.

Typical housekeeping duties will include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, changing and making beds, laundry, ironing, tidying up; organizing closets, garages, cupboards, fridges, linens, pantries and detailed/deep cleaning as needed. There are other housekeepers during the week, on Saturday this position works independently.

Salary is $35/hour cash and the family prefers to pay using a cash app, (venmo or other app).
