HOUSEMAN FOR BUSY WEST HOLLYWOOD FAMILY

We are looking for a skilled Houseman who can work in a lovely private West Hollywood residence on staff. Two (2) or three (3) days would be spent working at the West Hollywood residence and one day a week at their Malibu residence (total work week is between 4-5 days, full time each day, 8 hours totaling around 32-40 hours per week). This is a fully staffed home, and the Houseman will be assisting housekeepers, Property Manager and Estate Manager.

As the houseman, you’ll work with the team of Housekeepers, and be supervised by the PM and EM. This position will not require any managerial duties, you will be part of the team and work collaboratively with everyone at the house. Seeking someone with a true service mentality and will pitch in wherever is needed. The Houseman will be assisting with cleaning floors, furniture, stocking, watering plants, taking out the trash and clearing debris around the property, picking up after the family’s dog, cleaning tables, windows of the interior and exterior of property. Organizing and assisting housekeepers, setting up for events, helping with other ad-hoc needs as directed by both the Property Manager and Estate Manager. No big egos or loud personalities please, we are searching for a great all-rounder who enjoys being of service.

The schedule is 4-5 days a week and hours will be discussed further in the interview.

Location: 2-3 days at the West Hollywood, CA residence and 1 day at the Malibu, CA residence (total 4-5 days/week)

Hours: Possible full-time hours (32-40 hours per week)

Compensation: $40 to $45 per hour depending on experience; paid via W2
