HOUSEKEEPER – TAMPA BAY, FL

Our client is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join the household team at a beautifully maintained private residence in the Tampa Bay area. Working alongside the Executive Housekeeper and other household staff, the Housekeeper will provide hands-on cleaning, laundry, organization, and general household support to ensure the residence is consistently maintained to an exceptional standard. The family is looking for someone who notices the details, works efficiently and thoughtfully, and is equally comfortable completing their own responsibilities independently and pitching in with the team when needed.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping and Home Presentation

• Perform detailed daily housekeeping throughout the residence
• Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, kitchens, and other areas to consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Make beds, change linens, refresh guest rooms, and assist with turndown service when needed
• Properly clean and care for fine furnishings, natural stone, specialty surfaces, artwork, luxury textiles, and other high-value finishes
• Ensure rooms are returned to an organized and polished condition following use
• Identify maintenance concerns or household issues and communicate them to the appropriate team member
• Assist with preparing and resetting the residence for family arrivals, guests, and special occasions

Laundry and Linen Care

• Launder, press, steam, fold, and properly care for clothing, linens, and household textiles
• Follow appropriate care instructions for delicate fabrics and specialty garments
• Change and maintain bed and bath linens throughout the residence
• Assist with closet and wardrobe organization as needed
• Coordinate with the Executive Housekeeper regarding dry cleaning, alterations, or specialty garment care

Household Organization

• Maintain organization throughout closets, pantries, storage areas, kitchens, and household workspaces
• Help monitor cleaning products, linens, toiletries, and other household essentials
• Restock household supplies as directed
• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping work areas and supplies
• Assist with seasonal organization and special household projects as needed

Team and Household Support

• Work closely with the Executive Housekeeper and other household staff to maintain consistent standards throughout the residence
• Follow established household procedures, preferences, and cleaning protocols
• Communicate clearly with the household team regarding priorities, completed work, and anything requiring additional attention
• Assist with guest preparation, entertaining, and household needs as requested
• Remain flexible and willing to help in other areas when needed
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion at all times

Qualifications

• Previous professional housekeeping experience within a luxury private residence or comparable high-end environment
• Strong knowledge of detailed housekeeping practices and proper care of fine furnishings, specialty surfaces, and delicate materials
• Experience with high-quality laundry, ironing, steaming, and linen care
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining a beautifully presented home
• Organized, efficient, and able to manage daily responsibilities effectively
• Comfortable following established household standards and direction
• Ability to work independently while also being a positive and collaborative member of a household team
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to assist wherever needed
• Professional, discreet, and respectful of the family’s privacy
• Strong communication skills and a positive, service-oriented attitude
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Excellent professional references

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working within an UHNW private residence or fully staffed estate
• Familiarity with luxury housekeeping standards and household procedures
• Experience working as part of a larger housekeeping or household team
• Experience supporting guest readiness and family entertaining

Location: Tampa Bay, Florida

This is a full-time, in-person position. Local candidates are strongly preferred.

Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to support occasional evenings, weekends, or special events as household needs require.

Compensation and Benefits: $75,000–$95,000 (DOE), plus a comprehensive benefits package.
