Our lovely client is seeking a strong Household Assistant who can handle a little bit of everything!

This full time position, located in the Clinton, CT area, is a live-out role, supporting Monday-Friday at the client’s home.

Job duties, not limited to:

LAUNDRY: Treat stains, light mending, iron, fold, put away. * Clean, Descale, maintain washer and dryer + laundry area.

MEAL PREP: Coffee, Breakfast, water, vitamins, input in my fitness pal, pack my food and snacks for the road. Itemize Grocery list and provision, organize/clean fridge, freezer, consolidate, possible light meal prep/cooking of soups or salads, store, clean up (load, unload the dishwasher, keep sink area clean, counters, floors, surfaces) *Someone with knowledge of macro nutrients, ketogenic diet, measure portions a plus! Ideally would like assistant to meal prep for during summer with salads, and during fall/winter make soups/stews once or twice a week as a supplement to eating regimen.* Know how to make and use a home espresso machine, herbal teas. * Clean, descale, maintain specialty items: ex: cast iron pan, espresso machine, electric kettle

HOUSEWORK

Must be efficient, highly organized, detail-oriented. Light housekeeping/ straightening up, organizing. There is a cleaning crew once/week, so no “heavy cleaning” is needed. This would be light tidying up.

Taking Inventory: make a shopping list, restocking, refilling.

Car Interior Detail: Vacuum, sanitize and Armor-all wipe/clean, remove the trash, refill water bottles

Mail & Packages: Open, sort mail

Errands: Post office, Grocery, Gas

Travel Assistance: Packing, unpacking, loading, unloading car, driving (some travel to the Caribbean during the winter may be required)

Scheduling

Coordinate between other service professionals. Confirm, update personal schedule/calendar, using message and calendar. ex: doctor, massage therapist, stylist, cleaning crew, training…etc.

Customer Service

Fix purchase mistakes, billing, returns

Research and purchase higher ticket or speciality items for personal or home

Content Creation Assistance

Assistance with styling: Hair, wardrobe, concept, background, location set up for scene, video, photo shoot.

Social Media Assistance

Taking Pictures, edits, posts

Managing social media: scheduler for timed posts

Travel Assistance

Route assistance: area of interest, research travel options

Ex: gas, restaurants, mall, parking garage (spot hero)

Check Hotel amenities: gym, food options, room size, parking…etc

Driving between NY and CT when client travels to the city and back

Unpack from trip, wash, sort, refill toiletries, repack
