Couple with Santa Monica hill and beach homes are seeking a dedicated House Manager to take care of their two residences
Artistic couple who enjoys hosting social and fundraising events, are seeking a sharp and detailed House Manager to care for their two contemporary Southern California residences in the hills and at the beach. The ideal candidate with have a passion and refined point of view for event planning; be able to build and maintain relationships with the current staff; manage vendors and trades; do daily/weekly walks around properties to ensure all is running well. Assist with repairs in design flaws and necessary upgrades around the residences, vetting contractors and accepting bids. A strong eye for property management, updating systems, creating household manuals and checking all SMART home systems. Work with existing groundskeeper crew. Dedicated to the well being of the principals and their property. No children or pets at this home, but family and friends visit often – being aware and able to advance the house for guests is important for this super lovely couple!
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience required for this family, supporting UHNW homes/multiple properties. Work with existing Personal Assistant, and staff (housekeepers, chef, handyman, groundcrew) and fit in well with the dynamic already in place. Great with managing multiple projects.
Passport required as there is a European home which may require visitation once/twice per year to check on property manager and home there. Covid vaccination is required for this position (no exceptions).
On site required, errands, shopping, gift buying/returning, keeping punch lists moving and adding to / taking care of existing lists.
