High caliber estate in Bel Air is in need of high caliber European style housekeeper to work a staggered schedule to cover Monday and Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 11am-8pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm. Must be able to work twice a week with another Housekeeper. This is a New York/European style residence that is formal and refined and would appreciate someone who understands the etiquette of maintaining an 11,000sqft three level home.

This residence will require:

• Understanding of how to “detail clean”. Not just surface cleaning, but moving and checking under, inside, over, behind furniture and décor and deep cleaning all items
• Proper care of fine fabrics throughout home, furniture, draperies, linens
• This is not the type of home where folding the toilet paper pretty is considered “detailed”
• Keeping home stocked and guest ready at all times; ensuring the cloth linens in bathrooms, are all the same from fingertip towels to hand to bath towels
• Proactive housekeeper who takes initiative. Makes own cleaning schedule and is able to keep good time management completing daily tasks (no leaving laundry in the dryer for the next day, or rooms untidy)
• Laundress Skills: Fine clothing laundry experience. Pressing, steaming, and ironing delicate clothing. All laundry is done in house including finer garments and high-end clothing, very rarely sending out to dry cleaners unless absolutely necessary
• Polishing silver and other fine items
• Cleaning all surfaces correctly: stone, granite, glass, wood. There is a lot of glass in the home and they don’t want to see streaks or fingerprint marks on the glass or surfaces
• 3 bedrooms that must be cleaned daily
• Light cooking and serving appreciated but not required
• No chemical cleaners used, the family provide all eco-friendly products for the safety of their staff
• Must love dogs (they have two)
• No children in the home
• Fluent in English
• Comfortable in a house on top of mountain serving a non-celebrity family

Desired Qualities:

• Must have stamina, energy and be physically fit. Must be able to walk up and down the stairs of this 3-story home
• Great time management and planning. Ensuring you have all supplies, so you are not wasting time going up and down stairs (elevator may be used to transport laundry, vacuum or other cleaning supplies but it is not used by the family or staff)
• Great relationship with previous principals and glowing references
• Formal, luxury home or five star hotel service experience
• Preference will go to candidates fully vaccinated for Covid. Family request that a mask be worn in the home, regardless of vaccination status

$35/hour with benefits offered on payroll. Cash will not be offered.
