HANCOCK PARK FAMILY HOUSEKEEPER-MUST LOVE CHILDREN

Family of 4 is looking for a full charge housekeeper who cooks and loves children!

Our super awesome clients are looking for someone with detailed cleaning and organization skills, a fluent English speaker/reader, good basic cooking skills, and someone who loves children.

You will be maintaining the cleanliness, and organization of the home. Preparing breakfast and bagged lunches (lunch for one child), and cooking dinner for the children 5 nights/week and parents on occasion (2-3 nights/week). Weekly meal schedule at the start of the week will be shared so you know when parents are eating in with children. Family are seeking a Housekeeper with low-key and calm energy. Easy-going and flexible is a must. Tech-savvy light so you can text but this is not required as the Nanny can help with any texting or emailing.

The principals prefer someone who can work Tuesday through Saturday, but they will consider Monday through Friday. Some very light childcare is needed, as they do have a full-time nanny but there may be some overlap a couple of times per week when the nanny is taking the other child to activities.

The family need someone quick, accurate, and detailed with their cleaning. No errands necessary, but very good with inventorying the needs of the home and letting principals know when they are low on stocked items in the pantry, toilet areas, etc.

Family will consider a live-in but only on the days you work – this is not preferred but for the right candidate, it will be considered.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Deep and daily cleaning and maintenance of the home
• Exceptional attention to details
• Laundry; clothing, linens, and ironing
• Good with finding projects to do (re-organize the closet, etc.)
• Inventorying
• Organization of the home
• Light childcare/nannying
• Cooking for children 5 nights a week and occasionally the parents

Location: Hancock Park/Los Angeles
Contract Length: Full-time/permanent
Start Date: Immediate

Children: 1.5-year-old boy and 4 year old girl

Working Days: Tuesday through Saturday but will consider Monday through Friday
Working Hours: 7:30 AM to 8:30/9:30 PM (8 to 10 hours a day) Must be flexible

Salary: $30-$40 per hour with two weeks’ vacation a year

Must pass full background and reference check and be COVID vaccinated
