We have an incredible opportunity for a dependable and experienced Nanny to join a loving and dynamic family in Mar Vista, CA. This long-term, full-time position requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about childcare and has a strong background in infant development and care.

Responsibilities:

• Caring for a 7-month-old child, with a focus on transitioning to solids, walking, and potty training
• Coordinating and attending playdates with local families in the Mar Vista area
• Assisting with domestic travel, packing, and occasional trips to the family’s second home
• Accompanying the family on an international trip to Rome in September
• Being comfortable and experienced with pets, as the family has a 90lb Mountain Dog
• Performing children’s laundry duties and light housekeeping tasks related to the child
• Providing a calm and nurturing environment while respecting the family’s values and routines

Requirements:

• Previous experience with infants and confidence in handling milestones such as walking, potty training, and introducing solids
• A background or understanding of Montessori and child-led learning approaches
• Dependability, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Excellent references from past families
• Professionalism and respect for family values and routines
• Trustworthiness and the ability to take initiative
• Comfortable around dogs and able to handle a large breed
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable car for transportation during working hours
• Enjoyment of arts and crafts and other creative activities
• Ability to travel and hold a valid passport
• Reside close to the Westside for ease of commuting

Location: Mar Vista, CA

Contract Length: Full-time/permanent

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility for 1 date night per week, as needed (start later or end later) and to accommodate the family’s travel schedule

Salary: $25 per hour/DOE, PTO, and performance reviews
