Fast thinking New York Executive/Personal Assistant needed for highly intelligent hospitality executive. This position will require that you live in the principals’ inbox and disseminate information to him throughout the day, prioritizing the needs of the principal in modified emails, keeping your communications short, succinct and to the point. Frequent communication with calls, texts, emails; constantly changing the day’s to-do list; reminders of scheduled calls and meetings. Regularly following-up and reminding so that nothing important gets missed; count-downs to meetings and calls (“your next meeting is in one hour…”).
This position acts as the conduit between the executive, his teams and the company. EA will need to attend all meetings with executive, taking thorough notes and providing detailed action items with follow through. This is a “virtual position” but you will work from his home office, local coffee shops and the hotel and restaurants he owns. This is not a position that will work from your own home as you need to be close to the principal to move quickly.
Interest in attending openings of restaurants and bars; knowledge of who his VIP friends and colleagues are, as well as the VIPs with whom he should be networking. Researching; ordering gifts; liaising with his parents/partner/nanny for any needs that may come up.
The day should start with the EA providing a detailed agenda and must do list first thing in the morning, around 8am.
Typically working Monday-Friday 9-5-ish but the day ends when the executive is done for the day.
