EXPERIENCED PRIVATE CHEF NEEDED FOR BUSY CEO IN NEW YORK – HIRING ASAP

This position requires offsite cooking, possibly 100% of the time. Expert knowledge of cross contamination and allergens is a must. 

We have a great opportunity for an experienced local private Chef in NYC (Tribeca). The client is hiring very quickly and would prefer to find local area candidates before moving to any relocation for this position.

Very busy CEO is seeking a Chef who can do a mix of lunches at the office headquarters, (guest # will vary), and a few dinners approximately three nights per week offsite, number of guests may vary. You must be able to adapt to a changing of number of guests quickly with very little notice. Being prepared is exceptionally important for this position.

Chef will provide offsite cooking, plating, and drop-off. Service will be performed by butlers. Client entertains frequently; A-list guests, must be able to switch gears quickly (provide plated meals with 20 minutes notice for 10 people, for example). Chef will be responsible for keeping their kitchen area clean (when cooking at the office headquarters), stocking and inventorying, and all food shopping.

We seek a Chef with the following soft skills to work successfully within this residence: flexible, great with last minute changes, discreet, stellar palate, able to follow, nutritional guidelines and dietary restrictions, strong work ethic, humility, adaptive, professional, and can remain calm in center of chaos. Provide top level cooking skills and service. Must have offsite cooking facilities.

Hiring ASAP, the client’s Executive Assistant will be arranging trials in person.

Location: Tribeca, NY

Contract Length: Permanent

Working Days: 5 days a week, (3+/- dinners) hours tbd

Salary: $150k-220k/DOE and full benefits
