Wonderful Los Gatos, CA family are looking to quickly hire a Housekeeper and Lead Housekeeper for full time, long-term employment at their large estate. Seeking individuals who are polite, self-motivated, team players who can provide very discreet service with a high standard of cleanliness and organization.

Lead housekeeper will be hands on with all deep and daily cleaning needs of the home as well as responsible for supervising the other Housekeeper, and encouraging good work practices with a “do as I do” approach.

The other Housekeeper will work along side Lead Housekeeper so that detailed and daily cleaning projects are completed with efficiency.

Responsibilities of both roles will include: 

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all houses on the estate and other assigned areas
• Excellent laundry skills, ironing, hand washing, and dry cleaning management
• Changes bedding and make beds
• Gathers and empties trash
• Cleans furniture and fixtures using proper cleaning techniques and products
• Dusts furniture, walls, machinery, and equipment
• Washes dishes and cleans kitchen, including polishing the silverware
• Light exterior cleaning such as windows and patio furniture
• Assist with kitchen prep
• Packing/unpacking
• Other cleaning projects as needed or requested

• Must have knowledge and experience in the proper care of fine finishing’s, special surfaces and how to work around high-end artwork and antiques
• Must be experienced with deep cleaning and organizational projects
• Excellent Laundress Skills- ironing and caring for high-end linens and delicate fabrics including sheets
• Great follow-through
• Should possess excellent communication skills, fluent English
• Must be a self-starter, proactive housekeeper

Compensation:

• Lead Housekeeper $40-45/hour, Housekeeper $35-40, Depending on Experience
• 401k and health/dental/vision insurance
• 10 Days PTO
• 5 Paid Holidays
• Mileage Reimbursement
• Discretionary performance annual bonus

Full-Time Monday-Friday: 40 hours per week, 8:30-4:30pm, Occasional weekend help
