Self-managing, fast thinking, executive assistant needed for corporate New York office. Must be already based in New York City or willing to relocate yourself quickly.
This position will require you to be highly organized and resilient. Our perfect candidate is a strongly efficient and organized individual who can easily navigate busy desk and calendar, manage the Exec’s travel and communications. Someone who provides multiple options, and a very solutions-based thought process. This is a result driven led team and the right candidate will have the experience and stamina to keep up while maintaining a cool and calm demeanor. To have success in this role, you must be focused on the job and the Executive.
This position will handle core administrative duties as well as a wide array of other responsibilities. Maintaining confidentiality, effectively multitasking, and having a strong work ethic are imperative to success. Must be able to keep everything moving smoothly. Office tasks will sometimes blend with personal tasks, must be able to manage both.
- Own and proactively manage a complex, changing, high\volume calendar
- Ensure seamless flow of the CEO’s day to day activities
- Proactively and strategically coordinate internal and external meetings
- Work collaboratively in a multi\support team
- Provide additional administrative support as needed
- Schedule and manage private helicopter/jet travel
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative support role
- Desire to learn and work in an entrepreneurial, high pressure, ever\changing environment
- Thorough attention to detail and superior communication skills
- Strong time management skills: ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments with a high degree of accuracy and meet deadlines in a high\pressure environment
- Ability to think independently and provide creative solutions
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to diplomatically navigate complex situations
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Apple products is preferred
