ESTATE MANAGER for large beachfront property in Naples, Florida needed ASAP!

We just renewed a search with a client we have been working with for a position in Naples Florida for a Spanish / English speaking Estate Manager.

They will relocate, and salary is open.

65k sq ft home with 15 staff. Candidates must have experience with very large estates (at least 25-45k sq ft) and have managed at least 10-12 staff members.

They want someone who can properly set a formal table (checking the butler’s work if it’s been done correctly), understand maintenance systems and who to call if things go wrong, help with admin (about 1/3 of the job – updating manuals, and handling expenses), have a very high level of service understanding.

The family are in Florida for about 7 weeks per year (Christmas and Easter), when on property the job could be 14-16 hour days until they leave (about 3 weeks at a time), then goes back to Mon-Fri, around 9am-5pm when they are not there.

Experience with UHNW, coastal properties, and estates over 20k sf is preferred. Understanding of a home with world class architecture, design, art and interiors. Ability to advance the home for principals’ and guests arrivals, not waiting until the 2 week arrival time but keeping estate in top level shape all year long. Manage staff and outside vendors, budgets, design elements and all things tech. Important to comprehend SMART home technology, troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues,boating and sea craft vehicles, and any needs that will come up at the property. Meetings with outside vendors, getting work orders approved via the Chief of Staff and Business teams, record keeping and expenditure spreadsheets may be required. Improving systems within the homes’ technology so all is up to date. Being proactive in nature, high EQ. Experience in royal households, a plus.

This role oversees a very well-appointed artfully designed Naples property, the staff, and personal and professional needs of the home and for the family, working with the global team who often travel to the US with the family. The job will require  a strong focus on the upkeep and maintenance of both interior and exterior on a daily basis, with special monthly projects and a keen eye on what may be coming in terms of renovations and repairs. This is a semi-formal home, with multiple staff (seasonally), when principals are on property (3.5 weeks in spring and 3.5 weeks during Christmas holiday). An ability to manage an international team with diplomacy, professionalism, and sophistication will add to the success of the individual in this role; no large egos,or loud personalities would fit with this young family.

Keeping a household and guest manual of family’s preferences is required (knowing which cereal everyone eats, type of soap they use, how beds are to made, which chocolates they like during the holidays, etc.). Perfection in attention to service, fine detail and taste level. This is not an average House Manager position.

Monday-Friday 9-6pm as usual but overtime or weekend hours may be needed; competitive salary for the best of the best. When the clients are not in residence, the House Manage will work full time, Monday-Friday on a regular schedule managing projects and maintenance to keep the residence in top running shape.
