TWO DETAILED HOUSEKEEPER TO SUPPORT ON THE TEAM, WEST VILLAGE, NY

Our clients in the West Village, in New York City, are seeking two (2) very detailed Housekeepers to become a part of a team of 4 other Housekeepers for a 6-story townhome with multiple staff members.

Reporting to the lead Housekeeper, you will be trained to provide an elevated level of service, fine dining, silver service, turn down, and maintaining the residence to “5-star hotel” level.

Very highly detailed residence: learning to fold tissue paper a certain way, checking for all refills with soap dispenser; laundry service and being able to spot treat, separate laundry, and read labels; do floral arrangements, keeping inventory and pantry stocked in the kitchen; all pillows should be facing zipper-side down on the couch, changing light bulbs, etc.

As the Housekeeper on this team, you will possess the basic cleaning and laundry skills but be adaptable and trainable, have amazing organizational skills, be able to think on your feet, and be able to pick up systems and protocol quickly. In this role, you will be learning a lot of skills in a short period of time; speed, energy, motivation and adaptable will be required.

Shift #1: The day shift is Monday through Friday from 9AM-5PM with flexibility for later shifts or weekends to work dinner parties or events.

Shift #2: The afternoon/evening shift is Tuesday through Saturday from 12PM-8PM with flexibility for later shifts or weekends to work dinner parties or events.

Must be physically able to go up and down five (6) flights of stairs and be able to stand for long periods of time.

Location: West Village, NY

Contract Length: Permanent

Working Days: Day shift: Monday through Friday; 9AM-5PM Afternoon/evening shift: Tuesday through Saturday; 12PM-8PM with late night and weekend flexibility

Salary: $35 per hour DOE (please share your desired hourly rate)
